Sid Vicious was by all accounts a Rock and Roll star of dinosauric proportions. One time bass player with the infamous Sex Pistols, Sid was a crap musician but a vital jigsaw piece in the bands anarchic image. He lived his life fast and hard setting the prototype for the punk lifestyle of excessive attitude, bad dress sense and illogical chemical consumption. He enjoyed vodka straight from the bottle and his liberal upbringing led to early experiments with drugs and solvents. The brightest star burns quickest and Sid died of a heroin overdose on the 2nd of February 1979, he was only twenty-one years old.
