Renowned for being mother to England’s
Queen, Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon was fond
of a drop or two of gin. She also loved horse racing
and would often spend time at the track gambling and
sipping expensive booze. She also had a stupendous collection
of fancy hats that were the envy of other old ladies
around the world. As befits a person born into wealth
and privilege she received the best medical treatment
money could buy. This probably explains why she lived
for so long. Its either that or the gin; perhaps a bit
of both. Well there’s a recipe for long life:
Take two Harley Street Doctors, mix with a good measure
of pure English gin, add a couple of ice cubes and a
dash of tonic and hey presto you’ll pass the century
mark with no trouble.
Just watch out for fish bones!
