One time drummer for rock legends ‘The Who’ Keith Moon provided the model for Jim Henson’s Muppet musician Animal. Moon was a crazy party monster who when not in the studio, on tour, or trashing hotel rooms would spend time boozing with the likes of Oliver Reed. His drinking exploits are the thing of legend as are his hotel wrecking rampages. In truth he puts most modern Rock rebels to shame. Keith sadly died on the 7th September from an accidental overdose of pills he had been prescribed to control his alcoholism.
