TV cook and champagne lover Jennifer Patterson, became famous as half of the cooking duo the Two Fat Ladies who promoted high fat, high taste food.

TV cook Jennifer Patterson was one half of the larger than life TV cooking duo The Two Fat Ladies. In an age where dieting and stick thin figures were the preocupation of most of the public, Jennifer and screen buddy Clarissa Dickson Wright bucked the trend by unasahmedly promototing high fat food and the figures it produced. Jennifer was a fan of the finer things in life and when ill in hospital with lung cancer she asked friends to bring caviar not flowers. She had a love for whiskey, vodka, and champagne as well as being committed smoker. Sadly Miss Paterson secumbed to the cancer her beloved cigarettes had induced and passed away at the ripe old age of 71. She lived life to the full and we should all take note of her moral to drink, eat, and be merry!
