Party animal, comedian, drinker, drug taker, and all round fun guy John Bellushi was a comedian in a league of his own. His portrayal of Bluto in the film Animal House paved the way for adolescent Frat movies like Porkies, American Pie, and Road Trip. The role John is most Famous for is that of Elwood Blues in the cult classic The Blues Brothers. The film emerged from a series of sketches Bellushi and fellow Blues Brother Dan Akroyd performed on the infamous American comedy show Saturday Night Live. Sadly with stardom came wealth and the inevitable temptations of narcotics. John died in 1982 of a cocaine and heroin overdose; he was only 33 years old
