The
World
The World card embodies all the cards that have
come previously. It is a symbol of the unity of
the tarot. While the Fool represents infinite possibilities,
the World embodies the synthesis and realisation
of such possibilities. The card covers all aspects
of the body, spirit and soul. It binds the physical
to the spiritual, and demonstrates that while the
body is bound to this physical world the mind and
soul are free to wander the higher planes of the
cosmos.
Dignified: Arguably the most powerful
card in the pack. It points to supreme triumphs
in any and all undertakings. The circle is complete
and you can now step out of it. The card dominates
over all others. It indicates that life is one big
cycle and that what goes around comes around. Balance
and unity are achieved through the countering effects
of opposites. The pendulum swings both ways. Get
the champagne on ice the time of celebration and
dancing is not far away.
Ill dignified: Success seems to
evade you. Though external forces appear to be responsible
in reality you are holding yourself back. Your lack
of vision is your weakness, and a fear of change
perpetuates your confusion. Life is a journey and
no one got anywhere by sitting still. Embrace life.
With a little determination you'll be toasting success
soon enough.
